Ryan McKinley

Ryan McKinley is a Senior at the University of Alabama majoring in Aerospace Engineering. He attended the Disability:IN Conference at a NexGen Leader in 2019. Since last summer, Ryan has continued to pursue his degree and marched another season with the University’s Million Dollar Band. Ryan will be interning with Northrop Grumman this summer, an internship he interviewed for while at the conference last summer. He will graduate in December 2020 and looks forward to pursuing a career in Aerospace. Congratulations Ryan!

During the Disability:IN National Conference held in Las Vegas, Nevada during the Summer of 2018, Denson Ferrell participated in the Rising Leadership Academy. The Academy takes place at the Disability:IN Conference and provides two days of pre-conference skills building, leadership development and networking activities in addition to the full conference sessions. Participants have the opportunity to meet and interact with potential employers in their field of study or area of interest in a professional setting through interactive development workshops, facilitated networking and matchmaking sessions, resume-building activities and more. During the summit, these rising leaders build skills for the private employment sectors and have the opportunity to interview and  secure employment with businesses ready to identify and hire talented leaders with disabilities. Denson. Lockheed Martin met with Denson and ultimately hired him to be a System Integration Analyst! Congratulations Denson!
